We have multiple openings on our Inspections Team at DAA Seattle. This position is responsible for completing pre- and post-sale vehicle inspections and preparing related documentation and paperwork. Our inspectors complete visual inspections on vehicles and conduct a test drive on units to determine if there are any issues with the vehicle that could result in arbitration. The test drive is completed on a test track on DAA property. Through the test drive, our inspectors are responsible for identifying mechanical problems (wheel bearings, transmission issues, engine noise, front/rear differential noises, etc.). Work is performed outside, in all weather conditions. Requirements for this position include good communication skills, a history of excellent attendance and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Candidates must also be able to drive and work in adverse weather conditions, be able to get in and out of vehicles with relative ease and walk and/or stand for long periods of time. A valid driver’s license and three year driving abstract will be required for this position. A mechanical background is beneficial, but not necessary.
